EOS Lip Balm Sphere Review

This beauty here I won at FunnyFace Beauty’s extremely generous EOS giveaway for all those who had no access to it.  A big thank you to her.

If there is one thing that annoys the hell out of me, its my lips that are as dry as a desert. I’m constantly on the lookout for the perfect lip balm that will leave my lips moisturized without feeling greasy.

Alicia sent me the one called ‘Lemon Drop’. The first thing you’ll notice about it is the egg shape. I think its adorable and the best thing about the shape, it’s super-easy to find in my handbag.

The smell is a nice sweet lemony scent, not at all overpowering. The taste is the same. Its super creamy, moisturizes my lips, and doesn’t feel like i have anything on my lips. I don’t think its moisturizing enough for cold weather, but for summer, it’s a great buy. Since bangalore rarely sees winter, not much of a problem for me.

Its 100% natural with 95% of it organic. Also petroleum and paraben free, with Shea Butter and vitamin E. It has SPF 15, but lemon drop is the only flavour with SPF.

My only gripe with it is I won’t be able to buy it once this gets over, which probably will take a long time. All the options I checked out were terribly overpriced and definitely not worth it. I mean, I like the lip balm, but not that much.

soooo cute!!! I so wish these were available in India. But if they were, I think they would be really highly priced like all items from overseas :( But it's great that you got the one with SPF, will be useful in Indian summers. I actually like that pic of Ed. Takes confidence for a guy to do something like that in public.

@all.. the packaging is awefully cute. Whenever i take it out in front of others, i always get asked about it.

@poohkie.. yea. its a pity it isn't available here. And i actually thought the picture was cute. And it's from a EOS promotional event. That is why he's actually seen with it.

Hey,

I have heard and read a lot about these EOS lip balms, but never got around to trying them out. I love the innovative shape and the fact that it makes the experience so convenient. Nice review. Will look this one up
