Another Book Tag

I saw this tag at Ginger & CardomomWeaving the Web and Someplace Else and I couldn’t resist, so I picked it up.

Have you read more than 6 of these books? The BBC believes most people will have read only 6 of the 100 books listed here.

Instructions: Copy this into your NOTES. Bold those books you’ve read in their entirety, italicize the ones you started but didn’t finish or read an excerpt. Tag other book nerds. Tag me as well so I can see your responses!

I am not a big reader. I love reading
though.

But I am disappointed to see this list without a single book written by Paulo Coelho.

@BSD.. you've read a lot of interesting books. I hadn't even heard of some of them till this list.

@shoppingaholic.. I'm not a big fan of paulo coelho. have read a few of his books. but i remember reading eleven minutes and really loving it. and i've always wanted to read veronica decides to die. I guess alchemist should have been on the list.

should i be ashamed of myself to call a book-lover when i score only 5/100 ???
*stares at floor in embarrassment*

@sandhya.. well you still have time to read the rest of the books. And this list is anyways not the ultimate list, and quite frankly, some of these books can be a bit of pain to read. The only reason I read some of them were for my studies.

Theres no Ayn Rand on that list??? I love fountainhead..its brilliant! Also no P.G Wodehous...adore him

You actually like fountainhead. As much as I wanted to love that book, it put me to sleep. But I guess it should have been on the list. There are quite a few books missing in that list.

Yeah mine is quite terrible too. Its 21. Have a lot of catching up to do as well.

ladylavendersays said...

@anamika.. sometimes, i think I should get a full time job reading books..

This is like unbelievable. Most of the books u've read are my favorites too. Barring your dislike for Fountainhead, and my love for it, I think we're pretty similar.. :) And yeah, even I've like read close to 25 books on this list :)

Well I am a whole decade older, and I have just 46 or so from the list.. that too 46 of the more lightweight stuff on the list like Memoirs of Geisha, not the real heavy ones. I already did this on FB, but it is not a bad idea to do this on my blog as well.
